Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Musafir Junction ("the Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. This is a draft template — have a lawyer review and adapt it (governing law, entity name, jurisdiction) before treating it as legally binding.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for all activity under it. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to use the Service.
2. Safety features are not emergency services
The SOS and Community Help features are best-effort tools that notify your emergency contacts and nearby community members. They are not connected to police, ambulance, or any emergency dispatch service, and delivery of an alert is not guaranteed (it depends on network connectivity, third-party SMS/WhatsApp/email/push providers, and your contacts being reachable and available to respond).
In a life-threatening emergency, always contact local emergency services directly first (e.g. dial 112 in India, or your local equivalent).
3. User content
You retain ownership of content you post (trips, stories, photos, reviews). By posting, you grant Musafir Junction a license to display it within the Service. You're responsible for ensuring your content doesn't violate others' rights or the law.
4. Meeting other travelers
Musafir Junction helps you discover and connect with other travelers, but does not vet, background-check, or guarantee the identity, safety, or conduct of any user. Use your own judgment when meeting people or sharing a trip with someone you met through the Service.
5. Prohibited use
Don't use the Service to harass others, post false SOS alerts, scrape data, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Musafir Junction is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on the SOS or Community Help features.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
